Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 2 onions
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 2 apples
  • 800 g pork fillet(s)
  • curry
  • 250 ml sweet cream
  • 250 ml wine, white, dry (*)
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 100 g pineapple, in pieces (fresh or from a can)
  • Paprika powder
  • Cayenne pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

(*) White wine can be easily replaced with unsweetened white grape juice! Finely dice the onions and add them to the dish with oil. Roast uncovered for 9 minutes. Add the diced apples. Cut the fillet into ½ cm thick slices, add them, and season generously. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes. Combine the cream, wine, salt, and cornstarch, add to the meat, and stir. Add the drained pineapple pieces and cook uncovered for another 10 minutes. Mix well and season again to taste. Serve with rice.
