Tom Yum Shrimp Soup
The perfect tom yum shrimp soup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Shrimp
- 4 Paprika
- 1 Red onion
- 1 Can Coconut milk
- 1 Can Bamboo shoots
- 3 tsp Tom yum paste
- Pat the shrimp dry. Cut the peppers & onions into small pieces. Drain the bamboo shoots
- Fry the prawns with a little salt & pepper and the onions in a saucepan, add 3 – 4 teaspoons of tom yum paste and stir. Add the bamboo shoots & pepper pieces, pour in coconut milk and bring to the boil
- TIP 3: You round off this delicious soup with a little lemongrass or Thai basil or lime leaves. A treat like in Thailand. . .
