Tomato and garlic soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 ml tomato(s), strained
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste, with basil
  • 2 tbsp, levelled sugar
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • ½ onion(s)
  • Herbs, Italian
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • some butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

a simple and delicious starter

First, peel the garlic and onion and finely chop them along with the tomato. Heat a little oil in a pan at level 4 of 6 and sauté the vegetables. Once the onion is translucent, add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste and sauté. Deglaze with the vegetable stock and add the passata. Now add the sugar to the soup and season with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Simmer the soup for 5 minutes at level 2 of 6. Finally, stir in the butter and cream.
