Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 2 onions, more or less if desired
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 bell peppers, red
  • 500 ml tomato(s), pureed
  • Paprika powder
  • 2 rolls
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • olive oil
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

quick minced meat pan

Peel the onions, dice them fairly small, and sauté them in a pan (I use a wok) with a little oil. Wash the bell peppers, dice them as well, and add them. Then add the minced meat and fry. Once the minced meat is browned, add the tomato paste and paprika and mix well. Then add the passata and bring to a boil briefly. Let the mixture simmer for a while over medium heat to reduce the liquid. For the side dish, peel and finely chop the garlic cloves or press them through a garlic press and mix with a little olive oil. Mix everything together and spread it with a tablespoon onto the previously cut rolls. Now place the rolls in a preheated grill pan and toast them briefly (don’t forget to turn them over and be careful not to overcook them). The recipe is quick to make and extremely versatile in terms of ingredients. It’s also great for parties, as you can of course reduce the liquid by a little and serve it as a soup.
