Tomato and minced meat pan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 kg cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp pine nuts
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 400 g minced meat
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • 100 g feta cheese
  • 500 g gnocchi, fresh from the refrigerated section or homemade
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and roughly dice the onion. Wash the tomatoes. Roast the pine nuts in a large pan without fat and remove. Heat the oil in the pan and fry the minced meat until crumbly. Add the onion and tomatoes, season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar. Cover and fry for about 12 minutes, turning occasionally. Wash the basil, roughly chop it, and stir it into the tomato and minced meat pan. Heat the butter in a pan and fry the gnocchi for 3 minutes. Roughly crumble the feta cheese. Season the tomato pan to taste, sprinkle with the pine nuts and cheese, and serve with the gnocchi. I made the gnocchi myself, using a recipe from the database.
