Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 8 bratwursts (Nuremberg sausages)
- 1 lime(s)
- 2 cl sugar syrup or 2 tbsp brown cane sugar
- 5 cl cachaça
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Combine all ingredients, except for the sausages, in a shallow dish. Pierce the sausages all over with a fork or skewer. Marinate and let stand for about 1 hour. Grill according to traditional methods until the desired browning is achieved, brushing occasionally with the marinade. Caution: If the mixture drips into the grill, flash flames may occur!
