- ½ ball of light mozzarella
- 4 slice(s) toast bread, (sandwich toast)
- Balsamic vinegar
- Basil, fresh
- salt and pepper
- olive oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
from the sandwich maker
Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella and top two slices of toast with them. Season with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle with fresh basil and cover with a slice of toast. Place in the sandwich maker and toast until nicely browned. The light mozzarella gives a sandwich 4 points (but regular mozzarella also works for 4.5 points).
