  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp water
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 150 g butter
  • 200 g pasta (horn pasta)
  • salt water
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 125 g cooked ham
  • ½ cup crème fraîche
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • some marjoram
  • Flour for the work surface

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

For the dough, sift the flour onto a work surface and make a well in the center. Add the egg, water, and salt, mixing in some of the flour from the edge. Then place the cold butter in pieces on the floured edge. Knead everything together to form a smooth dough. Chill for an hour, and in the meantime, prepare the topping. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions, then drain. Wash the tomatoes and then cut into small cubes. Cut the ham into short, thin strips. Place the pasta, tomatoes, and ham in a bowl. In a second bowl, mix together the crème fraîche, cheese, and seasoning. Then mix with the tomato and ham pasta. Now roll out the quiche dough on a floured surface and place it in a greased quiche dish. Pour in the pasta mixture and spread evenly. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 45 minutes.
