Tomato, pepperoni, olives topped with feta cheese and onions

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 2 tomatoes
  • 100 g sheep’s cheese
  • 1 handful of olives
  • 3 peppers, mild
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • oregano
  • marjoram

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cut the tomatoes and feta cheese into thin slices. Finely chop the onions, olives, chili peppers, and garlic. Mix the garlic and half of the diced onions with the olive oil in a cup. Place the tomato slices in a baking dish, covering the bottom. If necessary, grease the dish with a little olive oil beforehand. Distribute the remaining onions, olives, and chili peppers over the tomato slices. Then place a slice of feta cheese on each tomato slice. Pour the oil mixture over the slices and sprinkle with the spices. Bake in the oven at 180°C (convection oven) for about 20 minutes. This dish is suitable as a starter for 3-4 people. As a main course, it will feed one person.
