Tomato salad with pasta

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 175g penne
  • salt water
  • ½ m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 12 basil leaves, possibly more
  • some cream of balsamic vinegar
  • 20 g Parmesan, sliced
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 20 cocktail tomatoes

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, finely dice the garlic and onion and place them in a bowl. Dice the tomatoes and add them as well. Season everything with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper, and season to taste. Tear the basil leaves into small pieces and stir in, along with the shaved Parmesan cheese. Drain the pasta and stir in while still warm. Perfect for warm summer evenings.
