Tomatoes with mozzarella

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 m.-sized tomato(s) (can also be large)
  • 2 balls of mozzarella (buffalo mozzarella is also fine)
  • olive oil
  • Salt (seasoning salt tomato – mozzarella)
  • a little pepper, black, freshly ground
  • 2 tsp herbs de Provence
  • basil
  • oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

without balsamic vinegar

Wash the tomatoes. Remove the stems and slice. Drain and place on a plate or platter. Sprinkle with a little seasoning salt and spray or drizzle with a little olive oil. Drain the mozzarella. Slice and place on the tomatoes. Season with a little freshly ground pepper, Provençal herbs, basil, and oregano. Sprinkle with a little more seasoning salt. Spray with olive oil to coat everything and let sit for a while before serving. Fresh baguette goes very well with this. I prefer it as it is, without balsamic vinegar (it’s too bitter for me).
