Tortilla – Quick Cooking

The perfect tortilla – quick cooking recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Potatoes, waxy, boiled and peeled the evening before
  • 2 piece Onions, chopped free
  • 125 gr Streaky bacon cubes
  • 5 piece Free range eggs
  • Olive oil for frying
  • Some Milk
  • Salt pepper
  1. Heat some olive oil in a cast iron pan, cut the potatoes into slices and add to the pan. Fry slowly and turn carefully. After about 15 minutes, add the finely chopped onions and the diced bacon. Cook for another 10 minutes. Be careful with salt and pepper, the bacon gives off flavor.
  2. In the meantime, crack open the eggs, season with salt, whip up some milk and pour over the potatoes. Let it falter slowly. As soon as the underside is “firm”, carefully turn the cake with the help of a lid and put it back into the pan. Then slide onto a plate, cut open m and serve with salad.
