Tuna sauce with capers

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 can tuna in its own juice
  • 1 can of pizza tomatoes
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 1 small jar of capers, 50 – 60 g
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 anchovy fillets
  • 30 g cream cheese or 125 g cream
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly vegetable broth
  • possibly oil
  • possibly milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Sauté the onions and anchovies in olive oil. Add about two-thirds each of the tomatoes, capers, and tuna, along with the remaining ingredients, and heat through. Puree everything, then roughly shred the remaining fish and add it along with the tomatoes and capers. Heat through again, season with salt and pepper, and thin with vegetable stock, oil, or a little milk if necessary.
