Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g turkey strips
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 2 tbsp, leveled flour
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp curry powder
  • 100 ml white wine
  • 300 ml broth
  • 2 tbsp, heaped cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, hot
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • ½ bunch parsley or 2 tbsp parsley, frozen

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Peel the onion and bell pepper and chop into large cubes. Brown the meat in hot oil, remove, and set aside. Add the onions to the pan and fry until they begin to brown (add a little more oil if necessary). Now add the diced bell pepper and fry for about 5 minutes. Depending on the desired firmness, dust with flour and mix well. Remove the vegetables from the pan. Fry the tomato paste and curry powder in the hot pan until they begin to turn brown. Now deglaze with half of the wine, stirring vigorously. Allow to evaporate, then deglaze with the rest again. Add the stock while stirring, and bring everything to a boil. Reduce the heat. Stir in the cream cheese and paprika, and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the cream cheese is completely melted. Add the meat and vegetables, season with salt and pepper. Bring everything back to a boil. Add the cream and heat through, but do not boil. Finally, add the parsley and then enjoy.
