Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 turkey drumsticks (approx. 850-900g each with bone)
  • 1 serving of marinade *

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes; Total time approx. 14 hours 5 minutes

* This marinade: http://www.chefkoch.de/rezepte/1881811306164070/Grillmarinade.html Mix the marinade and let the turkey legs marinate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight. Heat one side of a charcoal kettle grill, cover, and bring the temperature to 250 degrees Celsius. Place the turkey legs on the grill (in the indirect area), reduce the heat to 200 degrees Celsius, and grill indirectly for 90-100 minutes, turning several times and brushing with the marinade. Then grill for another 5-10 minutes over direct heat, turning regularly.
