Turkey nuggets with crispy breading

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g turkey meat (turkey fillet)
  • 250 g cornflakes, unsweetened
  • 1 slice(s) ginger, thinly sliced
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 100 ml vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp, heaped curry powder
  • 1 tsp, heaped paprika powder
  • 1 tsp cornstarch

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

Chop the ginger and garlic into very fine pieces and whisk together with the vegetable oil, soy sauce, curry powder, paprika, and cornstarch. Cut the turkey fillet into pieces and marinate them in the marinade. Depending on your time, the turkey fillet can be marinated for a few hours or used immediately. Since the cornflakes are too large, crush them with a potato masher or similar tool. Then coat the meat pieces in them. Place the breaded turkey nuggets on a baking sheet and bake at 150°C for approximately 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
