Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 turkey schnitzels, thin, double sliced
- 4 slices of ham
- 4 slices of cheese (e.g. Gouda or Edam)
- 4 leaves white cabbage, large
- 1 garlic clove(s), crushed
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
with ham, cheese and cabbage
Briefly blanch the cabbage leaves in hot water. Salt both sides of the schnitzel, place a slice of ham and a cabbage leaf on each side. Then add some crushed garlic and a light sprinkle of salt, top with a slice of cheese, and season with pepper. Roll up the roulades and secure them. Brown the roulades all over in hot oil, then simmer for about 15 minutes.
