Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kohlrabi
  • 150 g peas (frozen)
  • 1 vegetable onion(s)
  • 500 g turkey breast fillet(s) or chicken breast fillet
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • ⅛ liter chicken broth
  • 200 g cream cheese spread
  • 1 bunch of chives, chopped if desired
  • possibly sauce thickener if required

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Wash and peel the kohlrabi, halve it and cut it into the desired shape. Peel and dice the onion. Cut the turkey breast fillet into strips (rinse if necessary) and fry it in heated oil in a pan until browned all over. Season with salt and pepper, remove from the pan and set aside. Add the diced onion and the prepared vegetables to the pan and sauté in the remaining fat for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour in the stock and cook everything for another 10 minutes. Then dissolve the cream cheese in the pan over low heat, stirring constantly and bring to the boil briefly. Return the meat to the pan. Season to taste with salt and pepper and thicken with a little light sauce thickener if desired. Sprinkle with chives if desired and serve. I serve it with boiled potatoes.
