Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 300g spaghetti
  • 350 g kebab (chicken kebab)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or sunflower oil
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 3 tbsp Parmesan, freshly grated
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 10 arugula leaves
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. Spice mix (Baharat, Arabic spice mix)
  • e.g. chili oil (jalapeno seasoning oil), sambal oelek or tzatziki

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Fill a saucepan with water, add a pinch of salt, and bring to a boil. When the water boils, add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions. Pour olive or sunflower oil into the pan and heat. Peel and slice the onions, halving them if necessary. Chop the tomatoes and arugula. When the oil is hot, add the onions and fry, stirring occasionally. After 5 minutes, add the chicken kebab, mix gently, cook thoroughly, and season to taste. Check that the pasta is tender, then drain in a sieve and set aside. Place half of the kebab on a plate, top with the tomatoes, arugula, and grated cheese, then add the pasta. Mix everything gently and serve. If desired, drizzle with a few drops of jalapeno-flavored oil, sambal oelek, or add a dash of tzatziki.
