Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 package of turkey meat (500 g)
- 1 bag of Italian vegetables (frozen)
- 2 bags of rice (boil-in-the-bag)
- salt water
- ½ cup whipped cream
- 250 ml milk (1.5% fat)
- 2 tbsp sauce (paprika sauce), hot
- pepper, black
- Paprika powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cut the turkey into cubes. Brown in a pan. Add a little pepper. When the turkey is browned, add the vegetables. Cook the vegetables on high heat, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, add two bags of rice to a pot of salted water and cook for about 15 minutes. When the vegetables are ready, deglaze the meat and vegetables with half a cup of heavy cream and about 250 ml of milk. Reduce the heat to low. Add pepper and paprika to taste. Then stir in two tablespoons of hot paprika sauce. The sauce gives the dish a reddish color and a spicy flavor. Arrange the cooked rice on a plate with the turkey and vegetables and serve.
