Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 250 g turkey strips
- 2 garlic cloves
- some cayenne pepper
- Salt
- 1 pinch of lemon pepper
- 3 pinches of hot paprika powder
- 1 pinch of turmeric
- 6 g wild garlic, chopped
- 1 spring onion(s)
- 150 ml cream
- Sugar
- Oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Wash the turkey strips, pat them dry thoroughly, and fry them in a pan with hot oil until golden brown. Peel and finely chop the garlic, trim the spring onions, and slice them into thin rings. Add the white parts of the spring onions and the garlic to the pan and fry briefly, then season with cayenne pepper and salt. Mix the chopped wild garlic with the cream, then add the lemon pepper, sugar, turmeric, and the leek rings and simmer gently. Deglaze the turkey strips with the wild garlic cream sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. The turkey strips are best served with spaetzle, noodles, or rice.
