Turkey strips with wild garlic

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g turkey breast (e.g. turkey schnitzel)
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 bunch wild garlic, fresh, finely chopped
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, young
  • ¼ cup sweet cream or 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • ½ cup goat’s cheese
  • some water, hot
  • Salt
  • Pepper, white
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • e.g. water, hot

quick, easy, delicious

Cut the turkey into thin strips and fry in a non-stick pan in 1 teaspoon of heated olive oil. Dice the onion and add it. Trim the spring onions, slice them into rings, and add them as well. Peel the garlic, fry it whole, and then remove it (if you like the garlic flavor, you can also add the chopped clove). Season with salt and pepper, and deglaze with hot water. Let it simmer gently. After about 10 minutes, add the cream or sour cream. Then add the goat’s cheese (do not let it boil any further, or it will curdle!). Finally, stir in the finely chopped wild garlic. Serve best with rice or pasta.
