- 1 large onion(s)

- 1 bell pepper(s), red
- 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
- 3 tsp paprika powder, sweet
- 1 tsp paprika powder, hot
- ½ tbsp tomato paste
- ½ liter meat broth
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 jar beans, white
- 100g salami
- 200 g sour cream
- Salt
- pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Cut the bacon crosswise into thin slices and melt in a pot without oil or fat. Finely dice the onions and garlic, add them, and sauté in the bacon fat. Trim and chop the two bell peppers, then add them. Sauté everything for about 2-3 minutes, dust with both paprika powders and add the tomato paste. Sauté briefly (not too long, or it will become bitter!) and deglaze with the meat broth. Add the bay leaf and simmer for about 5 minutes. Drain the beans in a sieve and add them. Cut the salami into small pieces and simmer for about 2 minutes. Stir in 150g of sour cream. Season to taste with salt and pepper (and a little hot paprika if desired). Remove the bay leaf. Serve hot on plates. Serve with a dollop of the remaining sour cream on each portion. Serve with white bread.
