Lamb stew with potatoes, tomatoes and green beans
Brown the goulash pieces in a pressure cooker in hot olive oil and season with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and paprika, if desired. Then add the potato pieces and season again. Then pour the can of green beans and their liquid over the top and season again. Finally, add the canned tomatoes and their liquid and season again. Close the pressure cooker and cook for about 30 minutes once it has reached pressure. Release the steam from the pressure cooker according to the instructions and serve the dish hot. Tip: Depending on the amount of seasoning, the dish can be cooked hot or cold. I personally prefer the hot version. I like to eat this stew with mutton, but it’s not to everyone’s taste, as it has a slightly stronger flavor—so if in doubt, use lamb. The recipe is from my grandmother—she brought it back from one of her vacations. Simple and delicious.
