Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 3 cup(s) Lentils, red
- Salt
- Water
- butter
- 1 small onion(s)
- lemon juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
with onions and lemon
Wash the lentils thoroughly until the water runs clear. Then place them in a pot and fill with water two fingers above the lentils. Simmer over low heat until the lentils are soft and crumbly. Melt some butter in a small pan and brown a small chopped onion. Add it to the lentil soup and bring to a boil briefly. Season with lemon juice and serve with flatbread.
