Turnips in tarragon sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bunch turnips (4 larger ones)
  • 150 ml water
  • Salt
  • 200 g milk
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 bunch tarragon
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash the turnips. Peel them if you like. Chop them finely. Boil them in water until they’re as tender as you like, then drain. Whisk the milk with the cornstarch and bring to a boil while stirring. Chop the tarragon and stir in. Season the sauce and add the turnips.
