Tuscan fillet – pot

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pork fillet(s)
  • 200 g Parma ham
  • 1 cup of cream
  • ¼ liter vegetable broth
  • Tomato paste
  • 1 can/n tomatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • Wine, red
  • Paprika powder
  • Cayenne pepper
  • salt and pepper
  • rosemary
  • basil
  • Thyme
  • Parmesan

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the meat into approximately 3 cm thick slices, sear, and wrap each slice (or half a slice) of Parma ham. Season with salt and pepper and place them side by side in a casserole dish. Combine the cream, broth, a little tomato paste, tomatoes, finely chopped garlic, and the seasonings in a saucepan and bring to a boil briefly. Add a splash of red wine. Season to taste. Pour over the fillet, sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese, and bake for about 20 minutes. Pasta goes well with this dish.
