Umido Con Prosciutto E Verdura

The perfect umido con prosciutto e verdura recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 125 g Boiled ham
  • 1 Pc. Onion
  • 1 Pc. Yellow peppers
  • 150 g Frozen peas
  • 1 Pc. Fresh hot peppers
  • 125 g Olives filled with peppers, drained weight
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 500 ml Tomato sauce with basil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh basil
  • 125 g Pasta per person, weighed raw
  • Freshly grated Parmesan
  1. Dice ham, onion and paprika. Cut the pepperoni and olives into rings. Heat the olive oil in a pan, fry the onion and ham and put them in a saucepan. Add the vegetables and sauté briefly. Add the tomato sauce, season with salt and pepper and simmer gently for 10 minutes. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet. Just before serving, pluck the basil leaves and add to the sauce. Sprinkle freshly grated Parmesan on top if you like.
