Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
Dice the onions. Cut the sausage and cheese into equal-sized cubes. Clean the bell peppers and cut into fairly small pieces. Brush the fresh mushrooms and quarter, halve, or slice them depending on their size. Place everything in a bowl. Peel and core the apple and cut into 5 mm cubes. Drizzle the lime juice over the apple to prevent it from browning, add it to the bowl, and mix everything together. Place the remaining ingredients in a bowl and press in the garlic. Mix everything well and pour over the salad, mix again, and season with cayenne pepper, salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Let it sit for 30 minutes. Stir everything again and enjoy. Serve with fresh ciabatta or garlic baguette. Tip: For those who like it spicy, try Gouda with sambal oelek or another cheese with chili.
