Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • ½ lemon(s), grated peel
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ cube of yeast
  • 30 g sugar
  • 40 g butter
  • 125 ml milk
  • 1 tsp cream
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

Combine flour, lemon zest, and salt. Stir yeast and 1 tablespoon of sugar until liquid. Add the remaining sugar and yeast to the flour. Melt the fat, add the milk, and add to the flour. Knead and let rise for 30 minutes. Knead the dough again, roll out to a 1-cm thickness, and cut out 6 hearts. Let rise for 15 minutes. Brush with cream and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake at 200°C for approximately 12-15 minutes.
