Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 8 slices of white bread
  • 2 points ham (cooked ham)
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 pkt. cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • 250 ml milk
  • 250 ml cream
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Total time approx. 8 hours 25 minutes

American Brunch Casserole

Cut the white bread and cooked ham into cubes. Combine the milk and cream and whisk with the eggs. Season with salt and pepper, and stir in the grated cheese. Grease a baking dish, mix the bread and ham, pour over the egg mixture, and mix thoroughly. Let it sit in the refrigerator overnight. Bake the next morning at 175°C for 30-40 minutes.
