Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 540 g flour
  • 200 g sugar
  • 220 g butter
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 1 bottle of vanilla flavor
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), including the pulp
  • 1 pinch of baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 11 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 11 minutes

Knead all ingredients into a smooth dough. If the dough is too dry or crumbly, add a little more milk or butter if needed. Let it rest in the refrigerator for two hours. Remove the dough in portions from the refrigerator and roll them into strings. Then shape them into pretzels and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 11 minutes.
