Vanilla - rum candies

  • 50 g Crumb candies, brown or white
  • 0,25 tsp Orange peel, dried
  • 1 tsp Vanilla flavor or
  • 1 Vanilla pod and pulp
  • 50 ml Rum, 54% and possibly more

Instructions
 

Vanilla - rum candies

  • Weigh the crumb candies and pour them into a glass. Add the orange peel, vanilla pod, pulp or flavor. Then pour the rum over it so that the whole thing is covered. Seal and let stand for a few weeks (4). Shake again and again in between.
  • If it stays there for a long time, it turns into a thick syrup that can be used in many ways. How, for example, is interesting for refining teas, coffee, cocoa or for processing liqueurs. This gives it a tasteful note. But also goes well with desserts. Imagination without limits!
