Veal Cakes Filled with Crabs / Prawns
The perfect veal cakes filled with crabs / prawns recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Veal mince
- 1 Egg
- 200 g Fresh crabs
- 2 Diced onion
- 1 Bun old
- Breadcrumbs
- Salt pepper paprika to taste
- 20 g Chopped ginger
- 50 g Finely chopped rocket
- Chives
- Parsley
- Clarified butter
Crabs
- Sweat the onion, add the crabs until they turn pink, take them out of the pan
Frikas
- Lightly sweat the onion and ginger
- Knead the veal mince with the egg, soaked bread roll, the “sweat”, spices and chopped herbs. If the mass is too soft, “thicken” with breadcrumbs
- Make flat cakes from the dough – fill with rocket and the crabs in the middle and shape into meatballs.
- Fry both sides in clarified butter until they get color
