Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 ml vegetable stock
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 5 gherkins, approx.
  • 1 pack of meat substitute (Like Chicken)
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. vinegar
  • Sugar
  • 2 bags of agar-agar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 35 minutes

Bring the vegetable broth to a boil. First, add the carrots, then the onion, and finally the cucumbers and meat substitute. Season the broth with salt, pepper, vinegar, and sugar to a sweet and sour taste. Then stir in the agar-agar. Cook for about 2 minutes. Then pour into bowls and let cool. Serve with fried potatoes and remoulade sauce (it will no longer be vegan). Or with white bread, onions, vinegar, and oil.
