Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g sunflower seeds
  • 150 g oat flakes, ground, oat flour
  • 100 g sesame seeds, unhulled
  • 100 g flaxseed meal
  • 3 tbsp psyllium husks
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp beet syrup
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 400 ml water, lukewarm

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 30 minutes

Mix all dry ingredients. Combine the water, sugar beet syrup, and oil. Add to the dry ingredients and mix well, adding a little more water if necessary. Form the dough into a firm ball and place it in a roasting pan lined with baking paper. Cover with the appropriate lid and let it rest for about 2 hours. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Bake the bread in a covered pan for about 50 minutes on the middle rack, remove the lid, and bake for a further 20 minutes. After baking, let it cool completely and transfer to a bread container. The next day, the bread can be sliced ​​into fairly thin slices.
