Vegan brownies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ½ avocado(s)
  • 60 ml olive oil
  • 120 g whole wheat flour
  • 60 g cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 110 g sugar
  • 55 g cane sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 175 ml water
  • 2 tsp vinegar
  • 85 g dark chocolate, vegan

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

for a 16 x 26 cm baking tray

Mash half an avocado with a fork and set aside. Then chop the dark chocolate. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat) and prepare a small baking sheet (mine is 16 x 26 cm and was sufficient). In a bowl, mix the mashed avocado and oil until smooth. Add the flour, cocoa powder, both types of sugar, baking soda, salt, water, and vinegar and mix again until the batter is smooth. Finally, add the chocolate pieces. Pour the batter into the prepared baking sheet and spread until it is fairly smooth and fills the entire surface. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. After 15 minutes, pierce the batter with a toothpick to check how sticky it is. It shouldn’t be too sticky, but it definitely shouldn’t be dry either. This serving contains 2340 kcal.
