Vegan Cheesecake

The perfect vegan cheesecake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

shortcrust

  • 200 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 50 gr Sugar
  • 80 gr Alsan or vegetable margarine
  • 3 tbsp Water

filling

  • 150 gr Vegan cream cheese
  • 400 gr Silken tofu
  • 500 gr Vanilla soy yogurt
  • 20 gr Food starch
  • 1 packet Vanilla flavored custard powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 50 gr Sugar

shortcrust

  1. Make a shortcrust pastry from the ingredients and spread it in a greased springform pan so that the edge is approx. 4 -5 cm high.

filling

  1. Mix the tofu and cream cheese with the mixer until smooth. Then add the yogurt, sugar, starch and pudding powder and mix everything well. Pour the liquid mass into the mold almost up to the edge of the dough. Bake at 180 degrees for approx. 60-75 minutes. Allow to cool in the mold.
