Vegan chocolate hazelnut cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g plant milk (plant drink), unsweetened
  • 20 g cornstarch
  • 70 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 20 g baking cocoa
  • 70 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 4 pinches of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Add the cornstarch and sifted cocoa powder to the saucepan. Whisk with 6 tablespoons of the plant-based milk until smooth. Gradually stir in the remaining plant-based milk. Then stir in the ground hazelnuts. Place the pan on the stovetop and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove the pan from the stovetop and stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring everything back to a boil briefly, stirring constantly. Immediately after cooking, pour the cream into dessert bowls and let cool.
