Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 can kidney beans, approx. 400 g
- 4 tbsp oat flakes
- 1 tbsp wholemeal spelt flour
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch(s) of pepper
- 1 pinch(s) of paprika powder, hot
- 1 tsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp mustard
- 3 tbsp olive oil

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 6 minutes; Total time approx. 21 minutes
Drain the kidney beans thoroughly in a sieve, then mix or mash the drained kidney beans with the oats, wholemeal spelt flour, tomato paste, and mustard until smooth. This can be done with a food processor, but you can also use a fork or your hands. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Form the mixture into 4-6 patties. Heat olive oil in a large pan and fry the patties for about 3 minutes on each side.
