Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 100 ml sushi rice
- 1 tbsp sesame oil, dark
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 spring onions, green part
- 3 nori sheets
- 6 tbsp kimchi
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
quickly prepared and very aromatic
Cook the rice in twice the amount of water over medium heat. Add a little more water if necessary. Let the rice cool, then stir in the sesame oil, rice vinegar, sesame seeds, and salt. Spread 2 tablespoons of rice on the bottom half of each nori sheet, then add a row of spring onion and 2 tablespoons of kimchi. Roll up and moisten the end with water to help it hold together. Place the sushi roll seam-down on a wooden board. Repeat with the other two nori sheets. Finally, cut the rolls into 1.5-2 cm thick slices and serve with a little soy sauce.
