Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 400 g beans, black, cooked, drained
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 onion(s), chopped
- 1 tbsp jalapeño(s), chopped
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp pepper
- 150 ml vegetable stock
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
perfect as a dip for all Tex-Mex dishes
Heat a little oil in a pan and sauté the onion and jalapeños. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in the beans and seasonings, then add the broth. Mash the beans and let the broth reduce completely. If you prefer a less chunky dish, you can puree the beans in a food processor at the end. Note: The quantity of beans listed refers to cooked beans without liquid.
