Vegan: Spelled – Pumpkin – Side Dish
The perfect vegan: spelled – pumpkin – side dish recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 quarter Grated Hokkaido pumpkin
- 1 Cup Spelled grains
- 1 tsp My vegetable broth *
- 2 Cup Water
- Finely chopped parsley
- Make the water with the vegetable stock and bring to a boil.
- Then add the cup of (medium-sized) spelled grains and bring to a boil.
- In the meantime, grate the pumpkin on a grater.
- Let the spelled grains simmer for about 10 minutes, then add the grated pumpkin, stir everything and let stand for about 5 minutes.
- At the end the parsley comes in and if you like it rounded off with freshly ground pepper ….. it can be eaten.
