Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • Dough, yeast dough for a baking tray (from approx. 400 g flour)
  • Tomato sauce, if required from canned tomatoes
  • 2 large onions
  • 200 g bacon
  • 4 bell peppers (red, yellow, green mixed)
  • 450 g savoy cabbage
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 ball(s) of mozzarella
  • Garlic
  • Paprika powder

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

born out of necessity but still delicious!

Place the yeast dough on a greased baking sheet. Empty the canned tomatoes into a saucepan, reduce slightly, season generously with salt, pepper, and paprika, and spread over the yeast dough. Peel the vegetables and onion and cut into strips/pieces. First, add the diced bacon and onion to a pan and sauté until translucent, then remove from the pan and spread over the tomatoes. Next, add the savoy cabbage and bell peppers to the pan, sauté briefly, and then spread over the onion/ham mixture. Finally, top with the mozzarella, cut into small pieces, and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes.
