Vegetable Mince Stew
The perfect vegetable mince stew recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Kohlrabi fresh
- 300 g Carrots
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 500 g Vegetable broth
- 1 tbsp Rapeseed oil
- 300 g Ground beef
- Salt and pepper
- 0,5 tsp Sweet paprika powder
- 200 ml Milk
- Freshly grated nutmeg
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- Kohlrabi, clean and peel, keeping the small tender kohrabi leaves. Cut the kohlrabi into 5 cm pieces. Peel the carrots and cut into 1 cm thin slices. Sauté both in a saucepan with butter. Add the flour and sauté briefly. Pour in the broth, bring to the boil and cook covered for 10 minutes over a medium heat.
- In the meantime, heat the oil in a pan and fry the minced meat in large pieces and light brown. Season with salt, pepper and paprika powder.
- Add the milk to the vegetables, heat and season with salt, pepper, nutmeg and lemon juice. Add the minced meat to the vegetables. Cut the cabbage leaves into strips. Arrange the minced vegetable stew on plates and serve sprinkled with kohlrabi strips.
