Ingredients

  • 1 medium Fresh white cabbage
  • 1 Onion
  • 500 ml Vegetable broth
  • 3 Tomatoes
  • 500 g Mixed minced meat
  • Salt, pepper, rose paprika
  • 1 tbsp Oil

Instructions

  • Score the tomatoes crosswise at the top, place them in a bowl and pour boiling water over them .... leave in for 2-3 minutes and then rinse with cold water. Now peel off the skin, quarter it and cut out the inner workings ... then dice and set aside
  • Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the onion lightly in it, add the mince and fry until crumbly
  • In the meantime, clean and quarter the cabbage and cut out the stalk. Now it is cut into bite-sized pieces and added to the minced meat in the pot.
  • Fry the cabbage for at least 5 minutes until it is lightly browned ...... then it will taste better
  • Now pour in the vegetable stock and simmer the stew for approx. 25 minutes. Do not mix in the tomato cubes until the last 10 minutes.
  • Season the stew to taste with the spices and serve.
  • Tip: if you want the stew "thicker", take 2 potatoes, peel them and cut them into small cubes ..... cook them in lightly salted water and add them to the stew with the tomatoes.
