Vegetable Wok with Steak
The perfect vegetable wok with steak recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Vegetable wok:
- 100 g Brown mushrooms
- 100 g Broccoli
- 100 g Zucchini
- 100 g Cauliflower
- 100 g Carrot
- 100 g Leek
- 100 g Celery
- 100 g Bamboo shoots in slices (from the glass)
- 100 g Onion
- 100 g Red pepper
- 100 g Yellow pepper
- 1 Red chilli pepper
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 200 ml Vegetable broth (1 teaspoon instant)
- 1 tbsp Sweet soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Rice wine
- 2 Strong pinches of salt
- 2 Strong pinches of pepper
Steak:
- 2 Marinated pork neck steaks à 125 g
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 2 Strong pinches of salt
- 2 Strong pinches of pepper
Vegetable wok:
- Clean / brush the mushrooms and cut into slices. Clean the broccoli and cut / cut into small florets. Wash the zucchini, quarter them lengthways and cut into slices. Clean the cauliflower and cut / cut into small florets. Peel the carrot with the vegetable peeler, scrape with the vegetable blossom scraper / vegetable peeler 2 in 1 decorating blade and cut into decorative carrot blossom slices (approx. 4 – 5 mm thick) with the knife. Clean the leek, wash thoroughly, halve lengthways and cut diagonally into pieces. Clean the celery, first cut into slices and then into small diamonds. Peel and quarter the onion and cut into wedges. Clean and wash the peppers and cut into small diamonds. Clean / core the chilli pepper, wash and cut into small cubes. Peel and finely dice the garlic cloves. Heat oil (1 tbsp) in a wok and add the vegetables (chilli peppers, garlic cubes, onion wedges, carrot blossoms, celery diamonds, mushroom slices, broccoli florets, zucchini slices, cauliflower florets, leek slices, bamboo shoots, and bell peppers) one after the other and stir-fry. Deglaze / pour in the vegetable stock (200 ml), season with sweet soy sauce (1 tbsp), light soy sauce (1 tbsp), rice wine (1 tbsp), salt (2 big pinches) and pepper (2 big pinches) and everything Simmer with the lid closed for about 10 minutes. Keep warm until serving.
Steak: (here for 2 people!)
- Fry the steaks in hot oil on both sides until golden brown, season with salt and pepper and serve with the vegetables.
