Vegetarian Chop Suey alla Exuna

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 cup basmati
  • 2 cups water
  • 150 g broccoli, frozen
  • 1 jar of mu-err mushrooms
  • 1 can of vegetables (Asian vegetable mix)
  • 1 small bell pepper(s)
  • 50 ml soy sauce, Japanese (Teriyaki)
  • 4 tbsp sauce (sweet and sour)
  • 1 tbsp chili sauce
  • Soy sauce, Chinese
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Own creation, like the Chinese

Cook the rice in the water for about 15 minutes until tender. Drain the canned vegetables and mushrooms and finely dice the bell pepper. Chop the thawed broccoli slightly and fry it in a little oil in a pan. Add the bell pepper and fry. Now add the canned vegetables and mushrooms, mix everything together, and simmer briefly. Deglaze with the teriyaki sauce. Then stir in the sweet and sour sauce and chili sauce, and season with soy sauce to taste. Serve over the rice.
