Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 8 slice(s) toast bread, (wholemeal)
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 can of corn, approx. 300 g
  • 3 bell peppers, red, green and yellow
  • 1 can mushrooms, approx. 300 g, as desired
  • 150 g sour cream
  • e.g. ketchup
  • 200 g cheese (pizza), grated
  • salt and pepper
  • e.g. pizza seasoning or oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

with vegetables and mushrooms

Finely chop the onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Drain the corn and add it to the remaining vegetables. Then drizzle with sour cream and season with ketchup. Season with salt, pepper, and pizza seasoning. Finally, add the pizza cheese and mix. Spread the mixture onto the whole-grain toast slices and bake in the oven at approximately 180°C until golden brown.
