Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 bag of rice (boil-in-the-bag)
  • 1 tbsp butter or margarine
  • some curry
  • 0.38 liters of vegetable broth
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 bunch of soup vegetables
  • 1 tbsp hazelnuts, chopped
  • 1 tbsp cress
  • 1 tsp flour
  • Water (salt water)

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Prepare rice in salted water according to the instructions. Heat the fat, sauté the curry and flour, deglaze with the broth and cream, and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Season with salt and pepper and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat. Trim and wash the soup vegetables, cut them into fine strips, and stir them into the sauce along with the hazelnuts. Simmer gently for 5-10 minutes. Stir in the rice and serve with cress.
